Civic Planetarium Ulrico Hoepli And Gardens Of Porta Venezia

Civic Planetarium Ulrico Hoepli And Gardens Of Porta Venezia

Corso Venezia 57 – M1 Porta Venezia

Built in 1929, the Planetarium “Ulrico Hoepli” is the largest in Italy and it takes its name from the “planetarium” instrument which is installed there.
Guided observations of the sky generally take place every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

The building is located on the edge of the Giardini Pubblici “Indro Montanelli”, and is a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum which preserves animals, fossils, dinosaurs, spectacular colourful dioramas and plastic reconstructions in Italy’s most significant collection of its kind.
